Double check for any issues that arise and any other issues at that time I will provide upfront pricing -One year Service plan Upon today’s visit, the customer made me aware that she had recently purchased this home. It was winterized by the previous owners and in need of de-winterizing and restoring water to the home. At this time I gave the customer multiple options and upfront pricing and the customer has decided for me to proceed with de-winterizing the home, which included many flushes on each toilet, running all fixtures, bleeding out the hot water lines and restoring power to the water heater. I made the customer aware where the breakers for the pumps power and emergency shut off for whole home and water heater. On today’s visit the customer made me aware that he has had multiple issues with mainline stoppages since he moved in two months ago. The customer did have another company out here one month ago they claims they camera the line and ran into an obstruction that was possibly a backflow preventer. After that was performed the situation slightly improved but when the customer returned home and did a large load of laundry The water then again backed up. While I was on site approved looking for a backflow preventer with no luck but we did run a large load of laundry and there was definitely a slight back up at the clean out in front of garage. There is a floor clean out in the garage as well as a clean out behind the laundry sink. I will be sending our sewer specialist to camera the line as a courtesy to determine what the actual issue is. After all information is gathered with the sewer camera we will be able to provide multiple options and upfront pricing to resolve this issue for the cust
Perform Replace Fill Valve on Two Toilets Does Not Include Additional Warranty Arrived today to install 2 fill valves. One in the downstairs half bathroom and the other in the upstairs master bathroom. I previously came out and gave estimates on possibly installing customer supplied toilets or just repairing the toilets for the mean time. After replacing both fill valves, I checked for leaks and didn’t observe any at this time. I ensured the fill valve stopped at the premarked volume in the tank based off Gerber’s specifications. I flushed both toilets 3 times each and both were functioning properly when I left.
Install 42 water meters in the apartments mechanical closets Customer is supplying the meters and we will be supplying the fittings and pipe to install them We will have to drain down the building and turn off the power to each water heater and then cut in the valves We are not responsible for possible sediment clogging up showerheads, faucets or toilet fill valves Customer will contact us once they get the meters in and then we will return to install them.
After arriving to the home, the homeowner made me aware of 2 toilets that were running and needed fill valves. The homeowner had another plumber come out this morning, but wanted a second opinion. The home is approximately 6 years old, and the toilets are the original Gerber toilets. I made her aware that these are builders grade toilet and typically don’t do well as far as component quality and also flush strength. The toilet in the downstairs half bathroom and upstairs master bathroom are having this issue. I checked the pressure on the whole house to ensure it was within an appropriate pressure range, I read 50psi which is acceptable. I gave options with upfront pricing, and at this time, the homeowner would like the estimates emailed to her, and to discuss with her fiancé these evening, I will follow up tomorrow morning with a phone call to schedule further work.
On today’s visit customer made us aware he would like us to rough in a washer box, vanity, shower and install new waterline for toilet. Dispatch for diagnosis and repair options We were called out because customer has drain flies, and was wondering if this could be related to the plumbing system. We looked over the home’s drains, and checked for water flow, and everything seems okay. The home has a clean out by the right side of the yard. We offered the homeowner a diagnosis by means of a smoke test. At this point we did not perform any work. A dispatch fee was paid via credit card.
Upon arrival to the home the customer stated he was going to get quotes on getting a waterline installed from the road to the home. After talking with the water department and the homeowner, I provided him upfront pricing and options to go with. The homeowner thought the price was a little hard so after talking with Adam and giving him a discount he informed me that he was getting other quotes from other companies and possibly just going to do the work himself seeing how he does plumbing at work and trying to save some money due to the county charging him $4000 for just the meter
