Upon arrival I was greeted by the homeowner. We discussed that I was performing the inspection for his plumbing system. He explained that he has high water bill. Properly checked all fixtures, water heater, water pressure, piping, toilets and drains. Dye tested all toilets. No leaks. Kitchen faucet has a continuous drip some times if it doesn’t fully shut off. Recommend replacing kitchen faucet to alleviate water loss and usage. Checked all bathroom sinks, tubs and showers for functionality and leaks. No issues at this time. Provided options for things that were noticed today. Recommend to homeowner to have town of Elon come and verify meter is working properly. Water pressure at home is 70psi.
Upon arrival I spoke with the customer and she explained to me that they just had the tank pumped a few months ago and that the tank is backing up again. After further evaluation I then gave an upfront option and price on pumping up to 1000 gallons. Once gaining signature approval I then began to expose the septic tank lids and pump the tank clean and clear of any liquids or solids. After pumping the tank I made the customer aware that the drain field was not working properly and that we could have the camera and sewer specialists come out Wednesday afternoon to further assess the situation and provide upfront options and pricing on fixing the issue. After completion of the job I cleaned up all tools and materials. - pump up to 1000 gallons

On today’s visit the customer made me aware that he has had multiple issues with mainline stoppages since he moved in two months ago. The customer did have another company out here one month ago they claims they camera the line and ran into an obstruction that was possibly a backflow preventer. After that was performed the situation slightly improved but when the customer returned home and did a large load of laundry The water then again backed up. While I was on site approved looking for a backflow preventer with no luck but we did run a large load of laundry and there was definitely a slight back up at the clean out in front of garage. There is a floor clean out in the garage as well as a clean out behind the laundry sink. I will be sending our sewer specialist to camera the line as a courtesy to determine what the actual issue is. After all information is gathered with the sewer camera we will be able to provide multiple options and upfront pricing to resolve this issue for the cust
Perform Replace Fill Valve on Two Toilets Does Not Include Additional Warranty Arrived today to install 2 fill valves. One in the downstairs half bathroom and the other in the upstairs master bathroom. I previously came out and gave estimates on possibly installing customer supplied toilets or just repairing the toilets for the mean time. After replacing both fill valves, I checked for leaks and didn’t observe any at this time. I ensured the fill valve stopped at the premarked volume in the tank based off Gerber’s specifications. I flushed both toilets 3 times each and both were functioning properly when I left.
