On further inspection I found it to be completely locked up and I could not get it open. I cut the lines and used pecks adapters to put a line of packs so that it would not leak throughout the weekend, he would like me to return with a water test kit and find a good filtration system for his house. I also need to give him a water shut off when I return.

Repair the leaking polybutylene pipe located in the crawlspace underneath the water heater Upon arrival to the home the customer stated that they had a water leak located near the water heater in the crawlspace after crawling out of there and taking a look I noticed that the polybutylene T was busted inside of the insulation at this time I provide a price to fix it, after fixing the leak the water was turned back on and it is not leaking now, the water heater is also 13 years old, the customer is not the homeowner they are just a tenant but they were going to pay to Tonight’s bill, I also made the tenants aware that there is Polybutylene pipe in the crawlspace and that that pipe has since been recalled and is no longer in use and that it would be a good idea to get the home re-piped in the future so that these issues don’t continue to happen
Upon arrival to the home the customer stated that there was a water leak in the wall of the bathroom supply in the toilet after further investigation it was determined that the whole home has already been re-piped with PEX pipe except for this location, the copper is so thin and worn through years of use and non-filtered water that there was no way to properly Sauter on a fitting, so this time a shark bite was used to stop the leak, the waterline from the attic to the toilet is now PEX piping with a new shut off for the toilet as well it is join together at the top with a shark bite they will be need to be other work done to permanently fix the issue, with the copper pipe there has been an estimate sent to the homeowner to replace that little section that he can send to the new owners of the home to have replaced in the future if they see fit to do sir, this fixed is not a permanent fix where the shark bite is but is a temporary fix
After arriving to the home to assess the water at a property that we recently replaced the well pump at I observed slightly brown water coming from hot and cold sides of every fixture in the home, at this time I have revisited the conversation of replacement of the pressure tank with the homeowner, at this time the homeowner is still not prepared to Replace the pressure tank And is going to have to allow the well to settle as much as possible
