I called in because my pump pressure was low and going out once in a while. Chris took the time to think the problem through and consider a few alternatives. Then he narrowed things down from there. Great troubleshooting.

Apollo to the home I spoke with the homeowner about a couple different things she would like us to take a look at, after talking with the homeowner and going over some different quotes she is going to supply her on UV light more than likely she’s gonna do some research on which one she would like to get and get us out here in the next month or so to get that done for her as well as a couple other things that we address that she knows needs to be handled here in the near future and she’s gonna make a plan on getting us to handle all these things for her in a timely manner but spaced out so that it would work better for her finances, she said she will give me a call when she finds a UV light so that I can make sure that it is going to work for her application and then she will order it and we will install

Due to the Tub Drain being disconnected, waste water has been settling in the crawlspace and unable to drain to the proper outlet. ABS is sagging underneath and needs to be repaired and supported properly to fix this issue. Before beginning work, we will need to lay down a barrier over the standing waste water, and spread lime to help Neutralize the area. Remove the Old Tub Drain, and 1-1/2” ABS Drains. Install New Tub Drain, and 1-1/2” PVC Pipe, Trap, and AAV to previous conditions. Reconnect to 3” ABS drain, support drain at proper intervals to avoid sagging of the drains, and test work after to ensure drains are free of leaks. Arrived today to replace the broken ABS drain from the bathtub and make the connection back to the 1-1/2” ABS. We began by spreading lime in the affected area, and spreading a plastic barrier. We then started removing the old pipe from the tub, and also removing the old tub drain and tub shoe from the drain. Once the old plumbing was removed, we started to i

We came out today to do a 65 point inspection on the home’s plumbing. After arriving at the home, the home owner informed me that the only only issues she’s having are that the water pressure is low when she uses multiple fixtures in the home, and the water also has a lot of discoloration. She told me that she has had three water filters installed in the past few years, and that she is still having issues with the rust colored water. I looked through the home, and everything is in very good order. The only issue I found is in the guest hallway bathroom, the stop valves beneath the lavatory are not turning smoothly. Other than that, I noticed inside the toilets are very discolored, and in one toilet the water looked foamy. Everything is draining fine, and pressure is good at each fixture, as long as only one fixture is being used at a time. I looked through the crawlspace and all the plumbing looks fine. The water heater is in the crawlspace, and it is over 10 years old. It looked good,

Upon arrival to the home they customer stated that they were interested in water filtration after talking with the homeowner and a family friend/handyman friend of theirs I tested the water and he said that he would take care of getting a filtration system installed, he also said that they are not going to be concerned about the waterlines until something breaks at this time no work has been completed or any quotes have been given since the homeowners friend is sad that he is taking over all the work there at the home

After arriving to the home, the homeowners made me aware of a leak they’ve been experiencing. Located on the left side of the home, as you face it, they hear water running in the crawlspace. They notice the noise after they get through showering. This has been occurring for the past few days, but they couldn’t pinpoint an exact date when they noticed this. I crawled back to that area of the home, and noticed standing water, and that the underbelly of the home was sagging. In the standing water, there was microbes visible. I was able to get a recording of the issue, the drain pipe from the tub shower had come loose and disconnected completely, allowing water to enter the crawlspace. In order to fix this, my recommendation is to replace the tub drain, but to also replace the drains themselves due to a sag in the line, and based off visual inspection of the drains. I called the homeowner, and gave upfront pricing to make the repair but to also sanitize the area. After gaining approval for

After arriving to the business, I met with Shane, the Owner. He made me aware of a Water Line leak on their side of the Meter. He noticed a lot of Water pooling at the Surface, and Orange Alamance Water Systems determined it was not their Meter. The Building use to be on Well, however back in 60’s is When he believes the meter was installed. The meter was off when I arrived, however when you turn it on, the leak spun the meter at a fast rate. It did not take long for water to surface. A hole was dug within a foot of the meter, a buried PRV had corroded and caused the leak. Per code, mechanical fittings should not be buried. Due to the nature of this leak, being that the PRV is buried and the pipe is galvanized steel, we would only move forward with a line replacement. I gave an estimate to replace the line, however the owner has decided not to move forward with work. He is going to attempt to make the repair himself. The hole was left uncovered and the meter is off.

Upon arrival confirmed with customer I was to complete 65 point safety inspection. Began 65 point plumbing inspection of home, found home to be piped in with CPVC, with sea CPVC supply stops going to kitchen and bathroom faucets. CPVC is 25 years old and brittle, which could cause failure of supply stops and other fittings. Inspected master bathroom faucets, toilet, tub, and shower for leaks or faults. Other than CPVC supply stops everything else was in working condition. Inspected water heater, everything working properly. Inspected kitchen faucet and drains, besides supply stops everything else working properly. Inspected laundry room, shut offs for washing machine are old gate valves that look worn but are still in working condition. Went into crawlspace and inspected pressure tank and pressure gauge, ran water to make sure pressure switch was cycling correctly, everything working properly. Informed customer of findings and set up lead turnover for our water specialist to come inspe
