Upon arrival customer explained that there was mold on wall of closet behind water heater. We looked in closet and found that everything is dry but has lots of growth. The customer will have restoration company in to remove the sheetrock. Customer also made me aware that she was having issues with two shower valves. After investigating, we found that the one in the guest bathroom upstairs would convert to shower and would not get cold. The tub/shower in Jack and Jill bathroom would not convert to shower. I gave customer 3 options and she stated that she will probably go with option 3 and is going to wait until sheetrock is removed and if any plumbing repair is needed have it all done at one time.
Arrived today to perform a plumbing safety check and to flush the water heater. I made the homeowners aware of what I would be doing today, and began by flushing the water heater located in the attic. Jeremy replaced the water heater in the attic earlier this year, we decided to flush the heater to go ahead and get an annual schedule going for tanked flushing. I ran a hose from the water heater to the bathroom underneath. I flushed the water for 15-20 minutes, and ran some water through it after it drained down. No signs of sediment were present, which is good since it’s been less than a year. After flushing the water heater, I filled the heater up, and relit the pilot light. Everything was functioning properly after the flush. I began the safety check and checked everything plumbing related through the home, except the master bathroom since I did not have access to it during this time. However the homeowner reassured me that no immediate issues existed in there during this time. I che

I change the batteries six AA for the customer as a courtesy and have restored water to the kitchen sink and of course now everything is functioning properly. I also show the customer how to change the batteries Nick pleasants Cary,nc
