Upon arrival to the home the customer stated that they had no hot water and the pilot light would not relight after crawling up into the attic and taking a look at the water heater I determined that the water heater was showing a lot of signs of rust corrosion and leakage which will be due to the pilot light not hit lighting again also the striker was not striking each time which would also be an indication of an issue, after providing upfront prices and options for the homeowner and talking with Adam with the homeowner they chose to go with waiting on getting this work completed I informed them that tomorrow is Friday and we do not work on the weekends so that if they would like to be locked in on the schedule for tomorrow tonight would be the time to do so they chose not to go with that and I will be doing a follow up call with them tomorrow I’ll getting some information from them in regards to if they want to get this work completed and we will get them on the schedule for early nex
On today’s visit customer made me aware there was a leak near the area where we had made a repair and upon detailed investigation I found it was a caulk/grout issue at shower door area allowing water to exit corner of shower. All of the plumbing is in good working order and the customer will either contact who sealed the shower or correct the issue herself Nick pleasants Cary,nc
Upon arrival customer explained that last Thursday the tankless water heater was displaying code 10 and wasn’t heating water. Customer made me aware that he shut it off for a few minutes, then turned it back on, and it has been working fine with no issues since then. Code 10 is a venting issue, so I checked outside venting to ensure there wasn’t anything blocking it and it seems to be clear. Made customer aware that I would have to take vent off to ensure there wasn’t anything that may have gotten inside unit. Customer stated that unit has never been serviced and he purchased home new 8 years ago, I gave customer price to have serviced and venting checked, as well as some replacement options. Customer stated that he’s not sure he wants to have it serviced being the age and never serviced before, as he feels it may cause more issues. His wife and he will go over the replacement options and will call back if they decide to move forward with replacement

Upon arrival I spoke with the homeowner and made him aware that we were going to begin taking out the old water heater in the attic and disposing of it and installing the new water heater in the same spot in the attic, After making homeowner aware we began to take out the old water heater, after completion of taking out the water heater we then began to install the new water heater, also installing a flow stop on the water heater so that if the water heater ever starts to leak it will automatically shut the flow of the water off to the water heater, After installing the new water heater And flow stop we then installed a new expansion tank in place of the old expansion tank in the crawlspace, After completion of installing the new water heater, expansion tank and flow stop, we tested everything to ensure no leaks and that the water heater was heating properly, after completion of the job we cleaned up all tools and materials. Install 40 Gallon Natural Gas Water Heater, by Rheem, in
After arriving to the home, the homeowners made me aware of a natural gas water heater located in the attic that stopped producing hot water. The unit is 10 years old and they were interested in getting it replaced. The water heater is an old G.E 40 Gallon Natural Gas Water Heater. I checked the Whole House Pressure here and it read just under 60psi, within the tolerable range. With attic access being narrow, I made the homeowners aware that we would have to get a Rheem 40 gallon heater in order to fit the space, I made them aware of future issues that may arise with the gas control valve. I gave options for tankless, electric, and natural gas tanked heaters, with upfront pricing. Ultimately, they decided to stay with the 40 gallon tank and have an emergency stop in place in case of leaks in the future. We are scheduled to go out Friday, April 1st for install. Their dog, Lucy, was a great companion during this visit.
Replace garbage disposal/dishwasher rubber adapter to connect dishwasher drain back to dish washer 90 day warranty Upon arrival the customer made me aware that the universal adapter from dishwasher drain hose to garbage disposal had dry rotted and it’s causing a leak at a split. I have a customer multiple options and upfront pricing at this time they simply want to repair the adapter at the garbage disposal. After the job is complete i tested everything thoroughly and now everything is functioning properly Nick pleasants Cary,nc
Upon arrival to the home the customer stated that she dropped something in the garbage disposal which caused it to jam up and not work properly, after taking a look at the garbage supposal I noticed there was a screw lodged in the side of it, after removing the disposal and getting the screw freed I reinstalled the disposal and everything was functioning properly and as it should
After arriving to the home, the homeowner made me aware of a sewer ejector pump that was installed about a year ago. They had just renovated their basement and wanted information on basic maintenance of the unit. I made him aware that toilet paper and sewage should be the only things flushed into the sewer ejector basin. He also made me aware of a 50 gallon tank style water heater that he would like estimate on replacing. His concerns were with hot water volume, and the time it takes for hot water to reach his children’s bathroom. His wife had also noticed low pressure in their shower, after getting the whole house pressure, which was at 40 psi, I recommended a new prv. I gave estimates with upfront pricing. At this time, the homeowner would like to be emailed these estimates, and will sit down with his wife before moving forward.
