Quality Service Today is seeking a skilled and experienced Septic Pump Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining septic pumping equipment and providing excellent customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting and operating septic pump trucks, performing septic tank pumping services, and ensuring the safe and efficient disposal of waste.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Septic Pumping Operations:
    • Operate septic pump trucks and equipment to pump, transport, and dispose of septic waste.
    • Perform routine inspections of septic systems and tanks to assess their condition and determine service needs.
    • Safely and efficiently perform septic tank cleaning and maintenance services.
  2. Customer Service:
    • Communicate professionally with customers to understand their septic service needs and explain the procedures and services being provided.
    • Address customer questions and concerns with a positive and helpful attitude.
    • Provide accurate service estimates and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
  3. Equipment Maintenance:
    • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on septic pump trucks and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
    • Report any issues found with septic systems to dispatch so can facilitate a specialist to determine issues. 
    • Report any truck equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management promptly.
    • Keep the vehicle and equipment clean and organized and complete routine truck checks.
  4. Compliance and Safety:
    • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to septic waste handling and disposal.
    • Follow safety protocols and company processes as required to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Handle waste materials in an environmentally responsible manner.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Accurately complete service reports, work orders, and other required documentation.
    • Track and report on service activities, including the volume of waste pumped and any issues encountered.
    • Maintain records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  6. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other team members, including dispatchers and service technicians, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
    • Assist with training and mentoring of less experienced staff as needed.
